Support Legislation

The creation of Community Improvement Districts in Gwinnett County is authorized by Georgia House Bill 654. The Bill also contains information concerning how the CIDs are to be created, organized, operated and funded.

House Bill 654: This Act shall be referred to as the "Gwinnett County Community Improvement Districts Act."

In 2005, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution to create the Gwinnett Place CID.
